Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics (GA4) to collect traffic data to improve our website. Google Analytics data is stored on Google servers, not on our website.

These statistics are aggregated by Google; we cannot identify these statistics individually to a user.

Social Platforms

We do not use Facebook pixel or any other social platform tracking on our site.

Our Admin

Client Data

For our admin purposes we store our client names, business names, phone numbers, and email addresses. These are stored offline and are used for contact and billing purposes only.

For online payments through our online shop, all invoices are removed at the end of each calendar month, removing any client data associated with them. For the duration of that month the only customer details on our side associated with these invoices include your name, business name, and email address. When you make a payment you will be emailed a copy of the invoice you can download and keep. Stripe or PayPal, depending on which payment method you use, will send you a receipt of your payment to likewise file away and keep. At no point in the process do we have any access to your payment or other information, this remains with your payment gateway (Stripe or PayPal) at all times.

When you register your WordPress account to set up an account for our online shop, you only need to fill in your name and email address. That way those are the only details that will be stored on our online shop for the duration of your account with us. If you delete your account any data you have added is permanently removed.

The only client data we keep on file is stated above. It is not necessary for us to have anything more and it is the best way to protect you.

Sharing Client Data

We do not share the client data we do store with anyone or any organisation. We use client data solely for contact or billing purposes.

Security

All our site services are fully protected with SSL certificates and are hosted on professionally managed and secure servers.

Client Mailing Lists

We have a couple of primary mailing lists. These are our newsletter “MOG Blog” and our “Hosting Clients Notification List”.

These lists are run by MailChimp and allow you to easily unsubscribe at the bottom of any message you are sent. Though please do not unsubscribe to the hosting list because it is how we notify you about server maintenance and outages from upstream providers.

Our newsletter is just for our clients and will cover various things we think you will like or find useful, such as forewarning you of the latest scams, how to format images to load quickly (if you manage your website in-house), advice on changes required to your site’s privacy policy and data collection, and helpful tips for email, sites and apps, etc.

Client Forms

If you have filled in an enquiry form or requested a quote, the personal information we collect from you is your name, phone and email. This is stored offline for our admin purposes and only used for contact and billing. If you do not end up working with us we do not retain this information. Online, the record of this form data in the WordPress mail log is deleted monthly.

If you have requested a brochure, the personal information we collect from you is your name and email. Again this is stored offline for our admin purposes and only used for contact and billing. If you do not end up working with us we do not retain this information. Online, the record of this form data in the WordPress mail log is deleted monthly.

All these forms are managed by MailChimp and occasionally we send out specials we have on to those who have made an enquiry. On MailChimp, first name and email address are initially stored when you send a form. When you receive a message you can unsubscribe at the bottom of the message. We send out no more than 4-6 per year and along with any specials we may have on we include a mini version of our client newsletter “MOG Blog” with its scam notifications and some of its helpful hints section included.
