Our Favourite, Top 5, Best Website Designs of 2025
It’s time to highlight our favourite, best website designs of 2025!
As we draw closer to the end of 2025, we thought we’d shed light on some of our favourite website designs of the year.
While we generally lean towards designing clean and contemporary layouts for the sake of readability, SEO and accessibility, it’s always worth gathering inspiration from some of the most celebrated web designers of our time.
So without further delay, sourcing inspiration from the Australian Web Awards, here’s our top tier list for the year:
#1 – Visit Ballarat
While there is always room for cleaner design, what makes this new tourism site for Ballarat shine is the amount of creativity and thought that has gone into the UI. Visitors can very quickly find events, attractions, coffee shops and more using their ‘’Choose Your Own Adventure’ and ‘Explore The Region’ features. This is a fantastic display of solid backend architecture merged with a simple and smooth frontend experience.

#2 – Multicultural NSW Playbook
Too often, information heavy websites overcomplicate and clutter their frontend; but this site is a great exception. With balanced design, smooth animations and scrolling, this site makes it so much easier and more pleasurable to read content, while still offering clear navigation and progress indicators. In our view, this sets the standard for government & community-based online communications from now on.

#3 – RTRFM
This fun website, for an online radio station, manages to organise a large amount of data into an energetic and visually interesting interface. We love the branding consistency and creative tone that it sets, all while remaining easy to navigate and fun to explore.

#4 – Kismet Healthcare
This website is exemplary of a modern, crisp design. Every element and call to action is beautifully laid out, with a focus on creating clarity and space for the reader. We give this site full marks for their use of colour, structure, typography, branding consistency and text content.

#5 – Melbourne Recital Centre
Ending with a very simple but effective design, MRC has achieved a visually striking banner and website layout that highlights their contemporary artistic branding perfectly. It goes to show that keeping a website design clean and simple, with a few bold artistic elements, just works every time.

And that’s a wrap!
